Hearing an e-mail friend's voice on the phone is is a great experience, and meeting in person is even better. Each time it's happened, I've expected a moment of awkwardness at first, as we adjust our perceptions of one another, but in most cases we've just sailed right into conversation as if we'd been Sandra Parshallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17403144248962124138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8056815460076050228.post-55013419356824470872007-02-09T15:32:00.000-05:002007-02-09T15:32:00.000-05:00Julia,No you didn't scare me. Like you, I enjoy putting faces to names of people I've met on the Internet. I can't wait for us to get together again. Until then, we will have to be content with emails and blogging together!

I do miss getting "real" handwritten letters now that we've all pretty much moved into Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8056815460076050228.post-62132974117918776062007-02-09T14:52:00.000-05:002007-02-09T14:52:00.000-05:00Judy, that's so neat! So do you see the MSH dust as a good or a bad omen? Or just as a sort of Nature souvenir?

Liz, I LOVED mail as a kid and I still love it now, snail, e or other. I also wrote to friends at home from summer camp and to friends from camp when I went back home. I was known for writing back the minute I wrote a letter. They gave me a hard time about that, because as soon as they got my letter, it was their turn again.
